ISweek Gas Flow Sensor AFE-01 Product Introduction:
The ISweek chip-level gas flow sensor AFE-01 is manufactured by an European professional flow equipment manufacturer. The AFE-01 has the following features: extremely small size, bidirectional detection, detection of the flow of small mass objects, simple signal processing circuit and calibration, completely fixed mechanical components, excellent repeatability and long-term stability, suitable for use by the medical, instrumentation industries, and OEM customers.
The gas flow sensor AFE-01 is composed of four platinum thin-film resistors. It has a low impedance and a small heating area.
On both sides of the heater, there is a high-resistance resistor each, which is used to detect the flow rate and direction. Another resistor is used to detect the temperature of the gas. The two resistors near the heating element are connected to form a bridge, generating an output signal for detecting the flow rate and direction.
Without flow, these two resistors reach the same heating state. When there is flow, the temperature of one resistor is much lower than that of the other. Which resistor's temperature drops is determined by the flow direction, and the temperature difference can be measured. It is determined by the flow rate and direction. The heating time and response time of the flow sensor are very short because its heat mass is small.
This method can detect very small changes in flow rate. To achieve a higher flow speed, the temperature sensor can be connected to a constant-speed wind meter.
