MQ-D7 is a semiconductor carbon monoxide gas sensor which is mainly used as sensor element for detect carbon monoxide gas on leak detection and alarm equipment, It uses advanced flat production process, from the heater and micro- Al2O3 forming a metal oxide semiconductor material constituting the ceramic substrate , with the electrode wire leads, encapsulated in a metal tube housing, cap . When detecting the presence of gas, the gas concentration in air is higher, the higher the conductivity sensor, using a simple circuit that can change the conductivity of the gas is converted to an output signal corresponding to the concentration.

Notes:

At first, heating voltage should use 5 V preheat 3 to 5 minutes, then use 1.5 V heating test 1 to 3 minutes after that, use 5V again heating cleaning 10 to 15 seconds and then converted to 1.5 V test 1 to 3 minutes, cycle operation.
